Introducing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S
Harley-Davidson® launched its all-new Sport family for the 2023 model year with two models: the Sportster® S and Nightster. The Sportster® is an iconic model that dates back to 1957. The design goal with the Sportster® S was to the design a Sportster® as if it were first created in the 2020s whereas the Nightster remains truer to tradition, including the classic Sportster® silhouette. For the 2023 model year, Harley-Davidson® has also introduced the Nightster Special as a third option.
What’s New for the Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S in 2023
Mineral Green Metallic, which is a premium color option offered for the 2022 model, has been retired. Harley-Davidson® has introduced two new colors to take its place, and we’ll break those down in an upcoming section. As far as performance and standard equipment, the Sportster® S has been carried forward to the new model year largely unchanged.
Performance & Ride Characteristics
The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S in New Port Richey is powered by the Revolution® Max 1250T powertrain, which is liquid-cooled, and has a high exhaust mount. The Sportster® S has a low seat height and puts the rider in a forward position with forward-mounted foot controls. All of the advanced rider-assistance technologies that Harley-Davidson® offers are standard with this model. You also get a ride mode system with one customizable mode and three predefined modes: Rain, Sport and Rain. The Sportster® S also has an infotainment system with a 4-inch screen.
Making It Yours
The only choice you have to make at purchase is if you want a premium design. All models have a black finish. The Vivid Black exterior color is standard. Harley-Davidson® of New Port Richey also offers Bright Billiard Blue, Gray Haze and White Sand Pearl as premium options. Sportster® S vs Nightster® & Nightster® Special
