Introducing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Low Rider® ST

What’s New for the Low Rider® ST in 2023
Gunship Gray, which is a premium paint scheme available for the Low Rider® ST during its inaugural model year, has been retired. The other notable change is that an anti-lock braking system is now standard, and a traction control system is available as a factory-installed option.
Performance & Ride Characteristics
Most sport-tourers on the market are built on a sport bike chassis. The Low Rider® ST is instead built on the Softail cruiser chassis and in a manner that remains true to the classic Low Rider®. It’s powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine, which means that it has much greater power than a typical cruiser. It also has a windshield, a frame-mounted fairing that is designed specifically for this model, saddlebags that are as well, and it puts the rider in an upright position with mid foot controls.
Making It Yours
A black finish paired with the Vivid Black paint is standard for the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Low Rider® ST in New Port Richey. White Sand Pearl is offered as a premium paint scheme. You also have the option of the Fast Johnnie paint scheme as this model is part of the Fast Johnnie collection offered for 2023. If you want the TCS, you must choose that option at the time of purchase. Low Rider® ST vs Other H-D® Models
The big difference between the Low Rider® ST and the Road Glide® ST and Street Glide® ST is that those bikes are designed on the Grand American Touring chassis rather than the Softail®. If you prefer the Softail®, you may want to look at the Heritage Classic, which isn’t as powerful but does blur the line between cruiser and tourer.
