Meet the 2022 Street Glide®
The Street Glide® is among the most iconic Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. It is one of the brand’s flagships and a centerpiece of the Grand American Touring series. Its most defining characteristic is arguably its fork-mounted fairing, which is known as the batwing. This is a bike that is designed to ride for miles on end and for long periods at a time while remaining comfortable and in control, but it is also a blast to operate around town or navigate through your local twisties. What’s New for 2022
The biggest update for the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® is an electronic linked braking system with Brembo brakes, and it is important to note that this is a change that Harley-Davidson® has made to all of its touring motorcycles. The brand has also made some changes to the safety suite that was called Reflex Defensive Rider Systems and is now simply referred to as rider safety enhancements. Those systems have been expanded and refined. More of them are now standard equipment, and you can add the rest as a factory option. Harley-Davidson® has also made some color changes. The chrome aesthetic remains. Vivid Black remains the default color, but you now have the option of either Midnight Crimson or White Sand Pearl.

There was a time when the custom touring scene in the U.S. was all about stripping Harley-Davidson® touring motorcycles down to the basics, and this minimalistic approach is what inspired the Street Glide®. Some riders prefer that minimalistic design while others see it as a blank canvas. In either case, the Street Glide® remains a great option for the person who wants a hot rod motorcycle that is fun to operate around town but also comfortable and capable when chewing up miles and riding for hours at a time.
