2021 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® Overview
The 2021 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® offers a sleek design and many features as part of Harley-Davidson®'s Grand American Touring collection. Often referred to as a stripped-down hot-rod bagger, the Street Glide® includes floorboards, a passenger seat, and infotainment, to name a few. With nearly all the features of the larger touring bikes, the Street Glide® offers some difference. These differences include lighter weight and lowered stance for a more aggressive appearance. With an electronically controlled suspension and comfortably padded seats, the Street Glide® provides an incredibly ergonomic ride. The Dual Daymaker LED headlamps offer incredible visibility and incorporate nicely into the eye-catching batwing fairing. The included saddlebags provide ample space for cargo and a classic look. Choose from three head-turning color choices: River Rock Gray, Billiard Red, and the menacing Vivid Black. A highly capable Milwaukee® 107 V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection provides responsive performance and the feel you've come to expect from Harley-Davidson®. From its smooth-running operation to the iconic rumbling sound, the Street Glide's engine satisfies. The 92-horsepower and 111-pound feet of torque ensure that the 796-pound bike remains powerful as well as maneuverable. The Brembo brakes and ABS provide a stable stopping platform and confidence when tackling more challenging road conditions. Another exciting feature is the available RDRS or Reflex Defensive Rider System that includes several electronic systems that help control the chassis. Traction is critical on a bike, and therefore Harley-Davidson® developed a technology that helps enhance grip while accelerating, decelerating, and braking. The RDRS system is available as an option on nearly all touring bikes, including the Street Glide®, for safer travel. The duel-bending front fork suspension provides an excellent ride with outstanding absorption of road bumps and grooves. The rear dual-shock absorption is adjustable so that you can fully customize your ride experience. For example, if you're taking a passenger, you can hand adjust the rear suspension to account for the additional weight. Also, the passenger seat can easily accommodate a backrest, and the Street Glide® offers passenger pegs for extra convenience.
Once you sit down on the Street Glide®, you'll notice a sizeable Boom! Box GTS infotainment system that includes several features to keep you connected. Bluetooth, voice recognition and many other exciting options make this model one to test ride for yourself. The infotainment screen is constructed from Gorilla Glass and offers a substantially stronger product that's resistant to scratches and water. If you find yourself caught out in the rain, the weather-resistant infotainment setup comes in handy and helps prevent damage. With processing speeds up to 50% faster than previous models, the Boom!
