Test Ride 2022 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S near Spring Hill FL

Harley-Davidson® of New Port Richey is a premier Harley-Davidson® dealership with one of the largest inventories of new motorcycles in the region, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently expanded it with the arrival of the 2022 models. That includes the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S, which has generated a lot of buzz. Our dealership can also assist you with financing, motorcycle insurance, gear, accessories and even learning to ride. The new Sportster® S has been highly anticipated because it is a total redesign of a model that is iconic and beloved. The changes are rather stark, and we recommend scheduling a test ride in order to experience them firsthand.

Meet the Sportster® S

The Sportster® was introduced in the mid-1950s as an alternative to European sport bikes that was not only faster and more easily customized but more affordable. Its place in the motorcycle world would change in the decades that followed. It became an iconic motorcycle, and the emphasis shifted from high-end performance to preserving the heritage of the model and brand. The goal with the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S is to take the Sportster® back to its roots. This is not your father’s Sportster® but rather a Sportster® if it had first been introduced in 2022 rather than the mid-1950s.

What’s New for 2022

The Sportster® S is a brand new model for 2022, and that is a great reason to experience the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S near Spring Hill in person at our location. This is a modern sports bike but with a look and feel that is unique to the Harley-Davidson® brand. Changes from past Sportster® models include a liquid-cooled powertrain, a wider front tire and more forward rider positioning. It even has selectable riding modes, including a dedicated Rain mode, and it is outfitted with some of Harley-Davidson®’s most advanced rider-assistance technologies, such as cornering-enhanced ABS and traction control.

This Is the Right Bike For

It’s not a criticism to say that the new Sportster® S is not for every Harley-Davidson® enthusiast. It is, after all, the reason that the brand makes so many different models. Some riders will want their traditional Sportster®, and the good news is that Harley-Davidson® does have plans to reintroduce the classic Sportster®. We’ll provide more information on that as it becomes available. In the meantime, the Sportster® S is an exciting addition to the Harley-Davidson® lineup and an excellent option for the Harley-Davidson® enthusiast who wants performance and speed but with that iconic look and feel. Design characteristics include a liquid-cooled powertrain, a low profile, a forward and stretched riding position and front foot controls. It is also worth noting that a mid-mount setup is optional, and some riders, particularly shorter ones, find that configuration to be more comfortable and provide more control.

Making It Yours

Customizing your Harley-Davidson® has been part of the experience since the brand’s earliest days, and your choices begin with Vivid Black, which is the standard paint scheme, or two premium options: White Sand Pearl and Mineral Green Metallic. All three paint schemes are paired with a blacked-out aesthetic. Many rider safety enhancements are included standard. There are also some optional enhancements available, and you have to opt for them as a factory add-on. The Sportster® S has also launched with excellent support through the Harley-Davidson® catalog. If you want something in particular, there’s a good chance we already have it in stock, but if not, we can have it shipped here fast and at no cost to you.
