The Nightster™ has a screen, puts the rider in a forward riding position and features mid-mount foot controls. With the Sportster® S, Harley-Davidson® takes more of a cruiser approach. Performance
The Nightster™ is powered by the liquid-cooled Revolution Max 975T engine. The Sportster® S is powered by the liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1250T engine. The Nightster™ has a curb weight of 481 pounds and makes 90 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque. The Sportster® S is not much heavier at 502 pounds but makes 121 horsepower and 94 pound-feet of torque.
Personalization
The Nightster™ has a blacked-out aesthetic with certain metal-look and chrome-look aspects, such as the powertrain and forks. There are three color schemes available. Vivid Black is the default. Gunship Gray and Redline Red are the two premium options. The Sportster® S also has a blacked-out aesthetic but with bronze- and metal-look features. It also offers you three color schemes. Again, Vivid Black is the default, and your two premium options are White Sand Pearl and Mineral Green Metallic. Both models also arrived with excellent customization support through the Harley-Davidson® parts and accessories catalog.
